I was asked to teach a section of ENGL 216: Technical Writing during the November 2017 session at DeVry University in San Antonio, Texas. As noted elsewhere, it was not my first time teaching such a course, although it was the first time teaching the specific course–and it went well for me. Thus, when I was asked to teach it again in the May 2018 session, I was happy to accept–and to incorporate lessons learned from teaching done in the meantime.

I continue to plan to make the usual course-blog updates throughout the term. And I’ve added a couple of things: the rubric for graded discussions throughout the session, as well as information about the expected course project topic for the May 2018 session.
