Oklahoma State University’s ENGL 1113: Composition I serves as an introduction to college-level expository writing, working through a programmatic sequence of major assignments supplemented by materials and coursework left to the discretion of the instructor. In the Fall 2015 term, I am aligning several of my major assignments with one another (following a pattern I reference in discussions of my teaching practices), hoping thereby to increase student performance on assigned work and to enhance writing skills more fully.
