After addressing concerns from and questions about the previous class meeting, including the quiz, discussion asked after thoughts on the Desc, of which the FV was to have been submitted online before class began. Talk then introduced the upcoming Narr.

Also noted was the taking-up of next week’s class meetings with one-on-one conferences. Each student will meet with the instructor in Weir 209 for ten to fifteen minutes, during which the student will receive comments about the Desc and receive guidance in composing the Narr; students should bring what they have of their work on the Narr to the conference. Present students were encouraged to select times; absent students were assigned times. The list of such times appears below:

Class met as scheduled, at 1000 in Weir 110. The class roster listed 20 students enrolled, unchanged since the last class meeting. Thirteen attended, verified through the sign-up list. Student participation was adequate. No students from the class attended office hours since the last class meeting.
