I find me on the road today;
My work has taken me away
From where my daughter still might play,
Although, perhaps, not long.

The trip, I think, will easy be
And may well do some good for me–
But that, I’ll have to wait and see,
Although, perhaps, not long.
I still prefer to be at home
To having to go out and roam,
But going lets me write a poem,
Although, perhaps, not long.
