They harvest their histories in hope of a buck,
Let the words wither. Where have they gone,
Scraped and scattered, skins torn away,
The tomes that had told the tales of old deeds?
Grain for grinding to grist for bad bread,
Sunk into spewing to Stupid God’s glee,
And we forced to feast where the foul water flows.
